It is possible to find
in bookshoops guides to the cities in every language
and size. Furthermore, in libraries it is possible to
find real and curious rarities. During the nineteenth-century,
a lot of Italian and international editions of touristic
guides were published in order to train, educate an
interest well educated travellers. During the years,
these guides were enriched by photographies and reproductions
of many works of art. In those years, photographers
from Florence or other cities were pioneers of that
new and versatile technique. They, in fact, became specialists
in the documentation of the Tuscan powerful artistic
patrimony.
